The HDRA Board is pleased to announce an opportunity to meet the Ward One Alderman Candidates this Thursday, April 28th at the Downtown New Bern Library (400 Johnson Street). We will begin the evening at 5:30 with a half hour social and then each candidate will have a set number of minutes for a presentation. We have asked the candidates to articulate their goals if elected, and to discuss their position on the proposed social district and the issues of transparency in city government. We would also like to learn of their 5-10 year vision for our city. Please make plans to join us for this very important evening.
